What do you pay for root canals and crowns?

In my office, a molar rootcanal is $850, a premolar about $750, and an anterior $650.

A porcelain fused to high nobel metal or a full gold crown are both $825 and a full porcelain is $925.

Prices will vary depending on the office. I worked in one of the chain type offices and their standard crown was $398. Of course, they were so cheaply made that within 2 years they had recurrent decay under most of them, but hey, you get what you pay for. If you pay for a $398 crown, you are going to get a $398 crown.

a root canal on a molar tooth can cost up to $1000, a front tooth should be much less. a crown can cost from $750-1000 also. if you go to a dental school you will get better rates (and most of the time better treatment as well).
Reply:In the office where I work, (in Wyoming) a root canal on a molar is $700 and a crown is $720 or something. A root canal on a bicuspid is $440 ish and a root canal on an anterior, one-canal tooth is $400.
