Don't you think that it would be great to hear them on mainstream radio? Don't you think that they could really spread their message to a greater block of people in need?
Or is it that their respective labels want to keep them out of mainstream. I mean they are not in it for the money.
Any thoughts?
Opinion on Third Day and Casting Crowns?
I think you're totally right. Theres soo many Christian bands i listen to that i wish were on mainstream radio. I think it would be easier to reach out to teenagers, and everyone in general.
Reply:It would be great to hear them on mainstream radio. Casting Crowns has an awesome lead singer and the rest of the band is just GREAT!! I don't think that their labels want to keep them out though. It's all the other "Atheist" or whatever you want to call them, that demand separation. How sad that a country who's foundation was built on religion cant get people to believe. I say pack their **** and send them somewhere else. Great question. How was your thanksgiving?
Reply:I like them both - but dont know that they would fly mainstream.... and its usually up to the artist where they sillicit thier songs....when songs are big enough that they really touch everyone they do cross lines like MercyMe - I can only imagine and a few jars of clay songs have done it Stacy Orico did when she was around
It could be a good thing - but if you look back on people who really tried to play in both markets it didnt do too well for them - the ones I can think off of the bat ar Staci O. and P.O.D. both who became more influenced negatively and eventually dropped off of the map rather than moving more positively....
it may be able to work it would just need a lot of thinking and planning and changing....
Reply:No thoughts to your question, but I really appreciate your comment on mine. Thank you.
