odor. I was a dental assistant years ago and never heard of this. I floss sometimes twice a day and brush thoroughly twice a day. Have you heard of this?

You may have existing decay under or around the crown that may not have reached the nerve.

Or it may be a piece of meat (food) stuck under a margin or something.

I would see my dentist to be sure.
Reply:You could have an abscess under the crown. That happened to me 2 years ago. It spread to my sinus and it took a month to clear up the infection. I had to have a root canal through the crown.
