Is it possible to whiten crowns, bridges and other dental implants. ?

i had to have my 4 front teeth replaced with crowns and a bridge after an accident when i was 19. i'm 30 now and all the coffee drinking is starting to show.

its probably time to change those babies!! but the older finishes are tricky, your not suppose to try to whiten them. the dentist now uses a blue light laser, but somehow i'm sure they will talk to you about replacement. if you do replace them. you can get a whiten plate made by the dentist and the new caps can come in an all solid type glass. they look really really great too. i know, i have them.

i too had the same problem. so the whiten trays they make at the dentist really help a lot and that extra coffee that spills over onto the caps will whiten up to where they are suppose to be. i hope this helps.

Reply:If your bridge is removable use a product made by SEA-BOND called denture brightening cleanser AVOID getting on metal though. Greatstain remover.
Reply:the only way you can whiten them is to have them replaced. when they are made, they are made the color of your teeth at the time.
