they are big and bulky and the teeth are not leveled. they are 2 shades whiter. i had to go back after having the crowns come back to dark and too big. will my insurance company help me because he wants to fix the bite and not the color??
My new crowns look horrible should the dentist replace it for free??
wow I dont know on that one. Have you talk to the ins compy?
Reply:Temporaries are always made smaller than what the natural tooth was and patients are quick to think the permanent crowns look and feel too big. The tongue is deceiving you. Now shape and shade should be the same as others. Report Abuse
Reply:As Marie stated, see your dentist and have a "visual discussion" over this. Do give your self a few days to adjust, it may be ok due to being use to the temp. Ins Co. have nothing to do with Dentistry and won't help. Your wasting your time there. Report Abuse
Reply:Let him fix the bite or you could damage the teeth and you may approve of them then. Crown shades will look lighter or darker in different light, check in natural day light. It also depends on where and what type of crowns these are too. Report Abuse

Reply:Hi! I've been in dentistry for over 20 years. And the Ins. co has nothing to do with this. So let this go. They only pay for the crown work and they are not dentists. And they will not get in the middle. So this is a futile effort.
You need to speeak directly with the dentist in the chair with a mirror so both of you can get on the same page. One thing that bothers me is some dentists are not artists and don't see how oversized and over white teeth can be. Also the lab can make these mistakes and everyone is miserable. This is something you have to hash with him. I take phots of my patients teeth before and so they always have a realistic view of what they had and how far we can go. nd I take many impressions so they see that over sizing teeth will look terrible. This is an issue with you and your dentist. And you need a heart to heart. AND yes, if they look THAT bad, he must replace them. He should of never cemented them in the first place. IMO%26gt;get an appointment now and sit down and discuss this. His job is to do the very best he can do and you should be happy with the results. Good luck. M
