I have a friend who is looking to open an account in Czech Crowns.?

Would you have to go with a Czech bank, or would there be an option for doing that somewhere easier?

I have a friend who is looking to open an account in Czech Crowns.?
He can contact his current banks and ask them to open an account in foreign currency for him (in this case Czech Crowns). When his bank does not offer it, I would try another local bank.

If he would go with Czech bank he would have to make tons of paperwork and most of the time they are very much not flexible with sending papers to foreign countries.

I'm Czech but I live elsewhere and they don't want to send anything out. And they don't even allow you to do anything electronically without real paper and notarized signatures.. though once you are through that initial part Internet banking is mostly good by all banks in Czech. And I would like to mention tons of nonsense banking fees Czech banks usually have.. one should know that you have to pay even for having the bank account, sending transaction out and in and for all kinds of things.. robbers.
