Is it normal for new crowns to have sensitivity, especially between the teeth when flossing.?
NORMALLY IT'S NOT A PROBLEM. THE CONTACT BETWEEN THE TWO CROWNS MIGHT BE TIGHT. USE GLIDE FLOSS IN BETWEEN THEM, AND FLOSS GENTLY W/O SNAPPING IN THE FLOSS.
Reply:No, you need to go back to the dentist. The sensitivity should have been gone months ago. That may not have removed all the nerves from the tooth. My an appointment with your dentist today. Good luck
Reply:If you just have a crown over a live tooth then when you floss your hitting the live tooth...

so yes, at times it can be sensitive...
