Does having crowns affect wearing braces in any way?

I'm about to get my braces and i was wondering if crowns have any effect on that

No. Braces move the whole tooth, including the root. The crown is cemented on the tooth so well, that it won't come off or break. It will work the same as any other tooth. The root in the bone is what is being shifted, not just the top of the tooth where the crowns sit.
