I watched a video of the procedure and frankly its pretty scary what is done to place corwns.
How painful is it to get crowns on your front 6 teeth?
Thats what novacaine is for. But there are a number of people that do it without! It looks scary than it is. I would get the novacaine if it were me.
Reply:It isn't any more painful than a filling. You may be sore for a few days just from being open so long. Depending on if they have to remove any extra gum tissue is another thing to consider. I know the prepped teeth look scary, but it's really not a big deal. =)
