In Slow Fade what does they mean when they say "people never crumble in a day" What does that supposed to mean?

i got no idea what ur asking but this is my guess at it
it takes a long time to lead up to any major events in life even though the visible result may seem to happen quickly to other people.
Reply:about the same as the saying: the straw that broke the camel's back.
It's not the last straw, it's that everything else which was packed on its back brought it so close to the breaking point so the event which does break it can be minor as it is just the last in a long chain of events.
