Additionly iI wanted to know how long they are expected to last and how would my teeth look after afew years when my gums recede?

As long as you have a decent dentist and lab technician to make the crowns, they should look great on your posts and teeth. If you take care of them and the rest of your teeth and visit the dentist and hygienist regularly, you shouldn't have enough gum recession to alter the appearance of your crowns. And again, taken care of properly and made well, they can last upwards of 20 years or so. Rough estimate, as it does vary from each individual. Good luck!
