If you can avoid crowns, that's healthier for the teeth. While the porcelains look lovely, the dentist has to grind down a substantial amount of tooth structure to make it look good. This usually leads to a rot canal at some point and, given enough years, you lose the tooth/teeth.
Reply:Yes they look natural. Two types of ceramic crowns given. ONe is metal fused to ceramic and other one is ful ceramic. The full ceramic looks like 100% natural and asesthetics look natural as compared to metal fused to ceramic which are normally given for back teeth. For more on crowns you can read the following informative article on dental website... http://www.identalhub.com/ArticleSubCate...
Reply:Yes they look natural, they feel like your real teeth. I had to get crowns due to an accident which broke off both front teeth about 20 years ago. Do not hesitate to get crowns as it improves your looks and you have allot more poise and self confidence.
Reply:I am living proof. Most dentisst match the color of the crown to the other front teeth. But they do have a smoother surface compared to natural teeth.
