As crowns and bridges are not covered by Dental insurance, is there a guide line for the cost range?
HELLO,

if you have dental insurance then crowns and bridges are called major benefits that are covered under 50% of the dentist's price.

The reasonable and usual fees vary from region to region, but your insurance co. knows these fees, so call them or your dentist.
Reply:Most dental insurances cover crowns and bridges, varying in percentage as per your subscription. The cost can be calculated at $800-1200 per crown basis for ceramic ones. PFM crowns/bridges are much cheaper. Other than that you can also look for dental care overseas where prices are very cheap. Crowns and bridges in India or elsewhere can also be searched.
Reply:You can usually get an estimate from a dentist. It is a shame that these things aren't covered by insurance. Many people have hereditary problems and simply can't afford to get their teeth fixed so they end up getting them pulled making matters worse in the long run.
