I recently got temporary crowns for 2 teeth side by side put on. I have to go back in a couple weeks to get the permanent crowns put on. But the earliest I can schedule the appointment is the day I go back to college. How long does this procedure take? I just need to put 2 permanent crowns on. They already did the sizing, etc.
How long to put on crowns?
The longest it should take is approximately 30 minutes. They will need to take off your temporary crowns, which only takes them a few seconds. Then, they will wipe off any leftover residue, and fit you with your new crowns. They will cement them in, and make sure you have a good bite and everything. Like I said..if there's no problem with them it shouldn't take any longer than 30 minutes (if that long). Good luck!
