Could you tell me the standard charges for root treatments and crowns?

Hi, could you tell me the standard charges for root treatments and crowns?

Also, I have heard that there is a maximum amount which will be charged for any NHS dental treatment. What is this maximum?

Is it possible to get a second opinion from another dentist?

Could you tell me the standard charges for root treatments and crowns?
1 you are lucky to get a NHS dentist!

2. ther is NO maximum charge for NHS work you pay for work done

2 your dentist is obliged to quote for each piece of work for you.

root work will cost between £100 and £200 depending on tooth

crowns will cost between £200 and £400 depending on crown and material.
Reply:Your dentist is obliged by law to tell you exactly what the NHS charges are, there are no standard charges for private treatment. If you want a shock go to a dental lab and ask them how much they charge a dentist to make a crown something like £40 I was told by my friend who makes dentures, then the dentist charges about 4-5 times as much.
Reply:expensive why pay for pain
